Binary™ 540 Series 4K Ultra HD HDBaseT Extender with IR

This extender delivers 4K on a budget. Our most affordable HDBaseT extender, the B-540-EXT-230-IR transmits video at up to 4K@60Hz 4:2:0 up to 130’ and full 1080p HD up to 230’ for use in a versatile system. Plus, it’s compatible with HDMI 2.0 and HDCP 2.2, as well as 7.1 channels of lossless audio over a single Cat 5e/6 cable. Bi-directional Power over Cable (POC) eliminates the need to fit a bulky power supply behind the TV, saving valuable install time, while “plug and play” technology bypasses frustrating EQ and EDID settings. With HDBaseT technology, this extender also supports bi-directional IR control for integration into control systems.

Power Supply Voltage - Use the power supply included in the box. Using a different voltage power supply with Binary products will result in damage to the product and possibly the power supply. Be sure to use the correct power supply with the correct product!

Shielded Cable Recommendation - Although HDBaseT transmission technology is much less susceptible to EMI interference than other transmission technologies, if possible, it is recommended that you pull SHIELDED Cat5e/Cat6 with this product for maximum reliability. Please note: for proper shielding, shielded connectors must be used with drains connected at both ends. In addition, “EZ end” connectors are not recommended for use with HDMI extenders.

Ultra HD 4K @ 60Hz – 4:2:0

This extender offers full support of 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) and 4K@30Hz (4:4:4). Compatible with HDMI 2.0/HDCP 2.2 products, it also provides robust support for full 1080p HD, Deep Color 36bit, and HDMI® 3D, as well as a variety of audio types such as Dolby® Atmos, Dolby® True HD, Dolby® Digital Plus, DTX™-X, DTS™-HD Master and LPCM audio formats. Built-In ESD and Surge Protection

Intelligent circuit design, perfected through extensive hardware testing, has resulted in a robust product with excellent ESD and surge protection that exceeds CE Level 3 standards.
